What is Vanilla Baby2 ?

Vanilla BABY 2™ is a software program to instant create and edit the digital video with number of sources such as captured video clips (from camcorder, digital camera, other capture devices) including file-based sources. Vanilla BABY makes you enjoy the intuitive and easy to use User Interface.
There are three processes of using Vanilla BABY 2™, each of which lets you simply, but professionally create movie.

Importing video clips. The Importing video clips helps guide you through the simple process of importing all media files such as video clips, still photos, captured video clips and audio files.

Adding and Editing. The Adding and Editing basics provides you lots of options for transitions with effects, video effects, title and logo inserting and editing dynamically for professional creating movie.

Exporting movies. The Exporting movies gives you lots of export options: Save video as file (Windows media and Real media) for later use, Push broadcast, Record back to DV Camcorder, and Convert to standard-AVI.

There are three different modes of Vanilla BABY 2™, each of which lets you create movie in different ways.
You determine your preferred mode before you begin; Mixing mode, Storyboard mode and Timeline Track mode:
  • Mixing mode
    		•  The Mixing mode helps guide you through the simple process of creating & editing video.
  • StoryBoard mode
    		•  The StoryBoard mode is the default view. Use StoryBoard for importing the video clips and placing transition effects in sequences very simply.
  • Timeline mode
    		•  The Timeline mode lets you edit your video clips by viewing all the tracks at the same time. It gives you precise control of your edits on a timescale, and also lets you layer your tracks. Just drag and drop your video file, captured video from capture device, audio file or music straight from CD player as a background music source automatically cut video clips to music.

     

    You get a wide range of input and output flexibility, as well as features not found on the usual video editing software, such as a Media Organizer, real time caption and logo insertion, background music insertion, and a slideshow facility.

    Background music
    With Vanilla BABY 2™ you can include your own background music with MP3 and WMA audio files as well as the flexibility of music from other sources such as a CD.

    Slideshow
    The slideshow facility in Vanilla BABY 2™ allows you to create your own video album with hundreds of still image files from your digital camera, mobile phone, as well as files in BMP, GIF, JPG and TGA formats.

    Organization and Search facility
    This feature allows you to search the saved files in both thumbnail mode and text-basis mode with keyword, date, title of the file and so on. And you can import and manage all kind of media files by category on your local hard drive as well as over the network.

    Cutting edge
    But what makes Vanilla BABY 2™ cutting-edge is that is this – it is designed to work in real time for professional quality and high performance at various sample rates and sizes across a wide range of formats (Windows Media Video, Real Media Video, MPEG1 and 2, and ISO-MPEG4 [TBD]), encoding and trans-coding.

    This means that you can do such things as apply the transition effects on two input video sources simultaneously.

    And whether your titles are text, image or animation, Vanilla BABY 2™ not only handles them, it provides real time caption, subtitle, logo, spot news and ad insertion features as well as options for multiple mode. Streamed video can also be dubbed and video inserts edited or re-edited to match the music.

    With Vanilla BABY 2™, you can encode and trans-code your work (trans-coding is the process of converting a media file or object from one format to another).

    This allows you to do things like streaming on-demand content. This is where you deliver a streaming video album, video diary, CD movie, and other saved files over the Internet or an intranet to a PC on request. With Vanilla BABY 2™, content such as VHS tape, files on your hard drive, etc., can be easily trans-coded to stream stored content formats WMV (ASF), and RM.

    Industry standards
    Vanilla BABY 2™ can read industry-standard formats such as DV, Windows Media Video (ASF), Real Media, QuickTime, AVI, and MPEG1 and MPEG2 files making it easy to re-use them in Internet streaming formats such as ASF, RM, QuickTime and MPEG4 files. Vanilla BABY 2™'s multi-bit rate encoding options provides gives you both pre-defined system profiles and user-defined profiles such as 256Kbps - 300Kbps or higher.
